A Small-Box Kind of Place
Young is a small, unincorporated, laid-back community in the historic, remote Pleasant Valley just over 100 miles NE from (and almost a mile higher than) the edge of the Phoenix metro area.
We have a full-service restaurant, a couple of takeout places, a fine watering hole or two, a couple of stores, fuel, tire shop, auto parts/hardware store, vineyard, museum, library, post office, crisp and clean air, cool nights year-round, and ample opportunity to explore in every direction.
What we don't have are big-box stores, corporate fast food, outlet malls, casinos, pawn shops, bail bonds, payday loans, traffic jams, and street crime. Our community is a safe, relaxing, welcoming, fun place with tons of heart and spirit and residents who lean heavily toward friendly and helpful.
It's simply a great place to live and visit.

Valley Bar
Merle and Kathy's Valley bar has been a Young institution for over a half-century. Find here friendly locals, happy travelers, GENEROUS pours, live music, pool tables, and a killer vibe. Our band Polly-Urethane and the Acetones plays here regularly.
Open daily noon-2am.

Antlers Cafe & Bar
4.9 on Google Reviews with over 275 entries does NOT grow on trees, especially this far off normal supply routes. Guests often cite the burgers as among the best they've ever had. This is just plain a great place to chow down.
Open Thursday-Saturday 11pm-9pm, Sunday 11am-8pm.

Bruzzi Vineyard
The first vineyard in Gila County and specializing exclusively in exquisite, hand-tended VIDAL BLANC grapes, Bruzzi is highly regarded for their excellent wine, food, and service. It's rare to find an experience like this in such a remote nook of Arizona.
Friday-Sunday tasting and dining noon-5pm, reservations recommended.

Exceptionally friendly full-service grocery and feed store. Very clean with a surprising SELECTION for such a small town. Yes, they have drinkin' alcohol!

Buddi's Gas & Mini Market
Buddi's has 24 HOUR gas and diesel, plus expected convenience store fare. Per custom in Young, they are quite friendly. When in doubt, top off that tank, especially way out here! And a cold drink never hurts... unless ya chug it too fast.
